BESPOKE GLASS ART
As an individual crafts-person producing individual items by hand, I am delighted to create new designs especially for you or to tailor existing designs.
Thinking about a statement piece of glass to match your wallpaper / curtains / carpet / other decor?
Looking for a special gift for a friend?
Fancy a piece of jewellery to match your favourite dress?
Want a piece of glass art with extra holes for hanging?
Any of these are possible. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll get back to you with ideas and pricing.
Some examples of recent commissions:
A set of coasters for a customer in Aylesbury to match a bowl that he'd already bought from me at the RHS Malvern Show. It took a lot of experimentation to get the sizes right to make sure his wine glasses wouldn't lean over!
Just to let you know, your parcel arrived today, thank you. They look fantastic.
Thank you once again.
A large hanging suncatcher for a beautiful garden in Cambridgeshire. I drew up multiple ideas for the client so that he could choose a design that he was sure his wife would like.
Thank you so much for the lovely sun catcher for the garden. It is beautiful. Thank you also so much for your time and patience with this. It’s exactly what I wanted in the garden and a great birthday present"
Thank you again from a happy customer 😀
Union Jack coasters, created specially for a shop window display during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee:
A set of four coasters featuring shoals of copper fish and designed especially for the customer's friend as she relocated to the Cornish seaside.
Fresh out of the kiln...
Please email me at email@example.com with a few ideas about what you're looking for and I'll be very pleased to design/make something for you.
Bespoke items may cost nothing extra or might cost around 50% more than my regular items, but this varies depending on the complexity of your request. If I'm simply making one of my standard designs but in your preferred colours then there will usually be little/no extra charge. If I need to send you some colour samples of glass, mix pigments specially, design a mould or put a test piece through one of my kilns then that may increase the price. I'll always be up-front about the budget, and will try to suggest a range of options where possible. Telling me what you'd like and getting an idea of cost is always free!
The largest glass piece I can currently make (without borrowing someone else's kiln) is 90cm x 70cm.
Depending on the design, I may ask for a deposit
Please note that bespoke items can't usually be returned for a refund if you change your mind.
