This bowl is edged with squares of brightly coloured glass. It makes a great statement piece on a windowsill - the height of the bowl means that the glass squares are lifted up to catch the light, even in winter months when the angle of the sun is lower.
Formed from over 30 individually selected and hand-cut pieces of glass, this dish is fused once in the kiln at over 800°C then returned to the kiln for a second time to form its curved shape. This second firing is extended to allow the bowl to reach its full depth.
Size is approximately 15cm x 15cm, 7cm high
Four colour combinations are listed, but this bowl can be created in a wide range of shades - just send us a message.
Tessera Squares deep bowl
This is a hand-made product, so no two pieces are identical. Photos show an example, not necessarily the exact item you will receive. Small bubbles inside the glass are a normal decorative feature.
Purple/pink glass is often made using gold. This does mean that designs made using these colours will usually cost a little more. The price difference varies depending on the amount of purple/pink glass in a particular design.
